Subaru's standard symmetrical AWD design puts equal load through all four wheels, which means wheel replacement on a Subaru is different from a typical front-wheel-drive vehicle — the rear wheels see as much wear and impact damage as the fronts, and a single mismatched wheel can cause uneven tire wear across the AWD system. WRX and STI performance variants raise that further with significant power through tight-tolerance differentials. Aftermarket replicas of Subaru wheels often miss the precise offset that interacts with the AWD geometry; a 5mm offset error you'd never notice on a FWD car can cause steering pull and uneven AWD wear on a Subaru. Every wheel we sell is a genuine OEM take-off, refinished to factory specification.
The Impreza, Crosstrek, and BRZ use 5x100mm bolt pattern in 15 to 18 inch sizes. The Outback, Legacy, Forester, Ascent, and WRX use 5x114.3mm in 16 to 19 inch diameters. The STI variants of the WRX (through 2021) used 5x114.3mm with unique forged or two-piece designs and BBS-supplied wheels on certain model years. The older Forester (pre-2014) used 5x100mm before transitioning to 5x114.3mm. The Outback and Crosstrek have off-road-oriented painted-black designs on the Wilderness trims, distinct from the base or Limited trims. Common finishes include painted silver, machined-face, gloss black, and the Wilderness-specific matte black.
